Help Save the World Theatre
Submitted by Josh Schuman on 01/26/10 03:57:00 PM

Screenwriter Jon Bokenkamp has taken over The World Theatre in hopes that he will resurrect the place into the next spot for college students and others in the community to watch movies. His preliminary plan, once the building has been renovated, is to show movies at a reduced cost, while providing drinks and other concession items at an affordable price. In order for this to happen, The World Theatre needs to raise $400,000 to make the required renovations.
Iota Gamma will be hosting a movie night and video game tournament to help fundraising efforts for The World Theatre. All money generated from the events will be directly donated toward The World Theatre cause. We are hoping to make these events a huge success and subsequently assist Jon and The World Theatre in their plans.
